Lately, I get the feeling that I’m attending the whole world’s funeral.

Milk hissing, chairs scratching the wood when they’re pulled out, dinner parties where we talk about our kids going to college when that dream didn’t work out so well for us so why would it for them?

I walk into the grocery store, thrown offstage by a passerby.
